These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Peek mobile application ("App") operated by munstudio ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using Peek, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Peek. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. This is because Peek includes anonymous sharing features and user-generated content that may not be appropriate for younger audiences.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your profile.
• Your @handle must not impersonate another person or brand.
• You may not share your account or allow others to access it.

3. Account Inactivity and Deletion

Accounts that have been inactive for 12 consecutive months (no logins, no content sent or received) may be permanently deleted. You will receive a warning notification if we hold a valid contact address. We are not liable for loss of content resulting from inactive-account deletion.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen or by contacting support@muntheme.com.

4. Content You Share

You retain ownership of the photos and videos ("peeks") you share. By sharing content through Peek, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not share content that:

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or contains nudity.
• Is abusive, threatening, harassing, or bullying toward any person.
• Violates the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.
• Depicts minors in any inappropriate context.
• Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
• Violates any applicable law or regulation.

We will remove content that violates these Terms within 24 hours of it being reported. Users who post objectionable content will be permanently removed from the platform. We do not tolerate repeat offenders.

5. Advertising

Peek is a free app supported by advertising. By using Peek, you agree to receive advertisements delivered within the App. Advertisements are provided by third-party networks and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

6. In-App Purchases

Peek may offer optional paid features or subscriptions ("In-App Purchases") through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). All purchases are subject to the applicable platform store's Terms of Service. We do not offer refunds beyond what the platform store's policy allows. Prices may change at any time with notice.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's account or content without permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
• Send spam, unsolicited friend requests, or automated content.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services.

8. Anonymous Mode

Peek offers an anonymous sharing feature where the recipient does not see the sender's identity. This feature is intended for fun and light-hearted use. Although your identity is hidden from the recipient, munstudio retains a server-side record linking your account to any anonymous peek you send. This record may be disclosed to law enforcement or other authorities where required by law, or to investigate violations of these Terms.

Abuse of anonymous mode — including harassment, threats, unsolicited explicit content, or any other violation of these Terms — will result in immediate account suspension or termination. Anonymous mode does not grant immunity from our policies or applicable law.

9. Content Moderation and Reporting

Peek provides built-in tools for users to protect themselves and the community:

• Flag content: Tap the "…" menu on any peek and select "Report" to flag objectionable content. The content is immediately removed from your feed and a report is sent to our team.
• Block users: Go to Settings > Blocked Users to block anyone from sending you peeks. Blocked users cannot contact you or appear in your pod.
• Delete content: You can remove any peek from your feed at any time using the "Delete" option in the "…" menu.
• Contact us directly: To report abuse, harassment, or illegal content, contact us at support@muntheme.com or use the "Report Abuse" option in Settings > Support.

munstudio commits to reviewing all reported content within 24 hours. Content found to violate these Terms will be permanently removed and the responsible account will be suspended or terminated immediately. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users in any form.

10. Intellectual Property

All App code, design, branding, and non-user content is the property of munstudio and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.

11. Widget Display

The Peek app allows recipients to display received peeks — including photos and videos — on their device's Home Screen or Lock Screen via a system widget. By using Peek (whether as a sender or recipient), you acknowledge and agree that:

• Content you send may be displayed on the recipient's device in locations visible to third parties (family members, colleagues, bystanders, etc.).
• You are solely responsible for the appropriateness of content you choose to send.
• munstudio is not liable for any embarrassment, harm, or other consequence arising from content being visible on a recipient's device widget.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We expressly disclaim responsibility for:

• User-generated content: We do not pre-screen peeks or other content sent through the App. We are not responsible for any offensive, harmful, defamatory, or illegal content transmitted by users. You use the App and interact with other users at your own risk.
• Anonymous mode misuse: Although we take steps to prevent abuse, we cannot guarantee that the anonymous feature will not be misused. munstudio is not liable for any harm, distress, or damage caused by content received through anonymous mode.
• Video content: Videos shared through Peek are user-generated. We do not review video content before delivery. We are not liable for any copyright infringement, privacy violation, or other claim arising from video content shared by users.
• Third-party services: We rely on third-party infrastructure including Firebase (Google), Cloudflare, and advertising networks. We are not responsible for outages, data breaches, or privacy practices of these providers beyond what is within our reasonable control.
• Delivery failures: We do not guarantee that peeks will be delivered, viewed, or retained. Technical failures, device settings, or push notification restrictions may prevent delivery.
• Device permissions: The App requires certain device permissions (camera, microphone, photo library, notifications). We are not liable for consequences arising from granting or denying these permissions.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above may not fully apply to you.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MUNSTUDIO, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Loss or corruption of content, including peeks, photos, or videos.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.
• Harm caused by content received through anonymous mode.
• Conduct or content of any third party or other user of the App.
• Any matter beyond our reasonable control.

IN NO EVENT WILL MUNSTUDIO'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MUNSTUDIO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which munstudio is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use of Peek after changes constitutes your acceptance.
