4. Photos and Videos

Photos and videos you send ("peeks") are resized on-device before upload and stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage. They are delivered to the intended recipient(s) and may be cached locally on recipients' devices. Content may be retained on our servers for a limited period to ensure reliable delivery. We do not use your photo or video content to train AI models or for advertising targeting.

Widget display: Recipients who have enabled the Peek widget may have your content displayed on their device's Home Screen or Lock Screen, where it may be visible to bystanders. By sending a peek, you acknowledge and accept this possibility.

Anonymous peeks: When you send a peek in anonymous mode, your identity is not revealed to the recipient. However, we retain a record of the sender's identity on our servers for safety and abuse-prevention purposes. Anonymous peeks are still subject to our content policies and these records may be disclosed where required by law.

5. Advertising

Peek displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks. These partners may collect certain device identifiers and usage data to deliver relevant ads. You can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings: on iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android, Settings → Google → Ads, where you can opt out of ads personalisation or reset your advertising ID.

6. In-App Purchases

Peek offers optional in-app purchases processed through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not store or have access to your payment card details. The applicable platform store's privacy policy governs payment data.

7. Account Retention and Deletion

Accounts that have been inactive for 12 consecutive months may be automatically deleted along with associated data, including profile information and any stored content. You will receive a notification before deletion occurs if we hold a valid contact address.

You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at support@muntheme.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Peek is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
